Our community has the greatest staff members around, whose daily desire is to make TODAY a wonderful day for our Residents. As energetic as they are fun to be around, our staff at Ella Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care really enjoy working together! After all, when working together is fun, the joy is contagious! The energy created by our team is what breathes life into our community… and what a difference we make! We live for the opportunity to make our Residents feel noticed and special.
Brenda HobsonExecutive Director
Brenda was born and raised in Bryan College Station and is a lifelong Aggie fan. She started her career at Ella Springs as the business office director and worked her way up to Executive Director. "It's been a great journey getting to know the residents from when we first opened to nearly a full census."
When asked what she enjoys most about Ella Springs she said, "The ministry... that's what keeps me coming back every day. We have a great staff with servant hearts at Ella Springs."
Lucretia HittResident Care Director
Nurse Lucretia Hitt prides herself on being a floor nurse. "Interacting with the residents and their families on a daily basis is what creates a sense of a family. We strive to increase their quality of life every day and we enjoy helping our residents have the best years of their lives at Ella Springs."
When Lucretia is not at Ella Springs she enjoys baking fresh chocolate chip cookies which she brings to work. She is also a big fan of Taco Bell.
Sylvia RoushionLeasing Coordinator
Sylvia is a native Houstonian and a former missionary. She is well known for bringing her dogs to work on Fridays, "They both love the dog park and visiting with other residents doggies."
She has worked at other communities from the largest to the smallest. "I've really found a home here at Ella Springs. I truly believe the spirit of God is in the place and I'm so thankful to be a part of it."
Sylvia co-leads the diabetic support group at Ella Springs, "I've had diabetes my entire life so I understand the struggles. And I'm no alone, our executive chef also has diabetes. We decided to work together to help make Ella Springs a support center for anyone with diabetes in the community."
