Melody StepanenkoExecutive Director
Melody brings a wealth of experience to her position as Executive Director of Ella Springs. Her career in Senior Living began in the late 1980s as a devoted caregiver. Her commitment to and love for seniors would eventually reward her efforts in becoming an Executive Director in 2000.
Melody was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She married her husband David at the young age of 18 and became an Army wife, moving to Germany with him in early 1982. After the military, they moved to Houston, and were blessed with their daughter, Sarah.
The saying goes, "If you want to be happy, do what you love", and that's exactly what I have done since day one of my senior living career. My sincere love, respect and appreciation of senior citizens has brought me here to Ella Springs and my goal is to continue serving seniors for as long as God allows."
Jamie FosterMarketing Director
When Jamie isn't giving out hugs at Ella Springs, she's helping potential new residents and their families with the transition to senior living. She considers it an honor to help seniors age with grace and dignity.
Jamie's grandparents were a crucial part of her own life and she took on the role of caregiver to her grandfather for nearly 15 years. She has a deep respect for seniors and knows how rewarding it is to be caregiver. Her credibility and listening ear are a valuable asset in assisting seniors.
Danelle BrandonLeasing Counselor
Danelle brings over 20 years of experience working in senior living. She finds each day rewarding and appreciates the unique personalities of each resident. Whether it's sitting with a resident and holding their hand, or listening to their life experiences, Danelle cherishes each moment.
Danelle enjoys gardening and cooking, and cultivates life wherever she goes.
EnChantrise BarrettActivities Program Manager
EnChantrise creates new and wonderful memories each day for residents by planning and implementing our activity calendar. She loves encouraging residents to be active and social, and feels most rewarded when she makes them smile!
EnChantrise has known since college that the senior care industry was perfect for her. She earned her degree in Human Development and Health Science and never looked back. She loves seeing residents play games, use their creativity making crafts, and brighten up during special outings.
In her spare time she enjoys fishing and relaxing with family.
Mimi CollinsCommunity Outreach Coordinator
Mimi serves as Community Outreach Coordinator and finds joy in educating seniors and their families about the challenges and changes they face in retirement. As a trusted resource and guide, she is happiest when welcoming new residents and making sure they feel part of the community.
Mimi immigrated to the United States from Norway at age 4, so it's part of her nature to strive to make all residents feel appreciated and welcomed to a new place!
Mimi and her husband have five grown children and worked in pastoral ministry before she found a home working in senior living. She spent 10 years as Life Enrichment Director and has served in numerous roles.
Esmeralda FriedmanResident Care Director
Esmeralda's expertise brings daily reassurance to residents, as she is able to assess medications, monitor blood pressure, and look after the overall health and well-being of our seniors. She came to Ella Springs in 2017 after a good friend and mentor told her she would be a perfect fit for senior living! She absolutely loves it and hasn't looked back.
Esmeralda knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse. She's spent a lifetime finding ways to show love and support to others. And she considers each resident one of her "bonus" grandparents!
Robert HodgeFood Service DirectorRobert brings a wealth of experience to Ella Springs, having started his career as a dishwasher in the senior care industry many years ago. From planning to cooking to serving, Robert and his team provide an unmatched fine dining experience.
Robert developed a passion for both nutrition and serving seniors when he watched his parents care for his grandmother who lived with diabetes. Their compassion and selflessness inspired him.
When he's not working, Robert loves to play basketball and eat barbeque!
Brenda HobsonBusiness Office Manager
Brenda worked in banking for many years but loves the more personal environment at Ella Springs. She handles all the day-to-day business operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and maintaining resident files. Her organized approach helps staff and residents alike have peace of mind.
Brenda enjoys meeting visitors and talking with residents. Growing up, Brenda's grandmother lived with her family, so she knows that seniors are a bright and valuable part of family. Now she has a grandson of her own and enjoys spending time with him.
Luis PazMaintenance Manager
Luis brings loving care to every part of his job, whether it's maintaining the bright and clean appearance of Ella Springs, or helping a resident rearrange their room. The gratitude and smiles he's received have made him fall in love with the community here.
Luis' goal is to make sure the building always looks new, to help residents feel comfortable and at home. He's famous for his cheerful and polite demeanor when working and walking the halls at Ella Springs.
